It's all about the layering when you make lasagna. Even when you you’re making your own sauce, it’s still quite easy. The amazing part about this recipe, there is no need to cook the lasagna pasta before-hand. It cooks in the oven together with the whole

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350.

In a saucepan, put in the tomato sauce, water and tomato paste. Also put in the garlic, oregano, salt & pepper –then mix it all together and bring to a boil.

In a small bowl combine the cottage cheese and mozzarella cheese.

In a 9x13 pan, put a small amount of tomato sauce on the bottom. Add lasagna noodles (approximately 5-6, and they will overlap). Next spoon half of the cheese mixture on top of the pasta, and spread covering the pasta. Spoon tomato sauce again on top of cheese and then repeat with a layer of pasta. On top of the pasta put the remaining of the cheese mixture, then tomato sauce and cover with a final layer of pasta. Sprinkle the top with remaining mozzarella cheese.

Cover with foil and cook for 1 11/2 hours
