Ice Cream Donut!

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups Mehadrin Premium vanilla ice cream
  • 4 oz J&J cream cheese
  • 3 tbsp Mehadrin butter, softened
  • 3 tbsp confectioners sugar
  • 12-15 3
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp oil
Ice Cream Donut!
A gastronomic delight, this recipe combines the best of both worlds with its donut and ice cream components. Follow these steps to enjoy this fried Chanuka delicacy! Enjoy responsibly :)

Instructions

In a bowl, whisk the ice cream, cream cheese and butter until well combined.
Freeze well until solid.
Combine sugar and cinnamon.
Spread the pastry squares on a lined cookie sheet. Brush some oil over it and then sprinkle cinnamon and sugar.
Heat a generous amount of oil in a pot, approx 2 inches.
While the oil is getting hot, place a small scoop of ice cream mixture in the center of each pastry square. Wrap the edges of dough over the ice cream, creating tightly sealed balls, and drop them into the boiling oil. Let them sizzle until golden brown.
Top donuts with your favorite topping, syrup, nuts, chip... and serve.
