Creamy Potato Gratin

Ingredients
  • 2 oz Mehadrin Garlic Butter
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 package fresh baby portabella mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 potatoes, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 16 oz Mehadrin Sour Cream
  • ½ stick Mehadrin Butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 5 oz heavy cream
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup Mehadrin Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 pack Mehadrin Sliced Mozzarella Cheese

Creamy Potato Gratin

Instructions

Add garlic butter to a large
saucepan over low heat. Sauté
onions and mushrooms for 5-10
minutes until soft. Add potatoes,
sour cream, butter, milk, heavy
cream and salt and bring to a
boil. Cook 20-30 minutes until
potatoes are fork tender.
Remove from heat. Add
shredded cheddar cheese and
mix until well combined. Transfer
mixture to a 9x13 aluminum pan.
Top with sliced mozzarella
cheese. Bake on 350oF for 10
minutes, until cheese is melted
and slightly browned.
