French Toast Cheese Pockets

Ingredients
  • 1 loaf sliced bread
  • 8 oz J&J Whipped Cream Cheese
  • 2 4 oz Mehadrin Vanilla Pudding
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • Dash of salt

Instructions

Blend cream cheese, pudding, honey,
brown sugar, and cinnamon until smooth.
Using a rolling pin, flatten the slices of
bread. Cut a circle from each slice of
bread with a cookie cutter, or anything
round. Spoon 1-2 tsp of cheese mixture
onto half the slices. Cover them with the
other half and use the spokes of a fork to
press and seal the edges all around.
Heat oven to 350oF.
Whisk eggs, milk and salt. Place the
pockets in the mixture for 2 minutes. Line
them on a baking sheet and bake for
10-15 minutes until top is golden.
Use the remaining cheese mixture as
drizzle/dipping sauce.
Optional: Sprinkle confectioner’s sugar
and drizzle maple syrup before serving.
